Season Recap
Trabzonspor won the title, their 7th league championship, under coach Abdullah Avcı. Fenerbahçe finished second, and Konyaspor came in third.
The top scorer was Umut Bozok (Kasımpaşa) with 20 goals.
Promoted teams were First League champions Adana Demirspor, runner-ups Giresunspor and play-off winners Altay. Ankaragücü, Gençlerbirliği and Denizlispor, who were relegated.
This season was significant for Trabzonspor’s first title in 38 years.
