Galatasaray won the title, their 22nd league championship, under coach Fatih Terim. İstanbul Başakşehir finished second, and Beşiktaş came in third.
The top scorer was Mbaye Diagne (Galatasaray) with 30 goals.
Promoted teams Rizespor, Ankaragücü and Erzurum BB replaced Gençlerbirliği, Osmanlıspor and Karabükspor, who were relegated.
This season was notable for Galatasaray’s strong defensive record.
