Fenerbahçe won the title, their 16th league championship, under coach Christoph Daum. Trabzonspor finished second, and Galatasaray came in third.
The top scorer was Fatih Tekke (Trabzonspor) with 31 goals.
Promoted teams Ankaraspor AŞ, Kayserispor and Sakaryaspor replaced Bursaspor, Adanaspor and Elazığspor, who were relegated.
This season was significant for Fatih Tekke’s incredible goal-scoring form.
