Season Recap
Galatasaray won the title, their 15th league championship, under coach Fatih Terim. Fenerbahçe finished second, and Beşiktaş came in third.
The top scorer was İlhan Mansız (Beşiktaş) and Arif Erdem (Galatasaray), both with 21 goals.
Newly promoted teams Göztepe SK, Diyarbakırspor en Malatyaspor replaced Siirt Jet-PA Spor, Erzurumspor and Adanaspor, who were relegated.
This season was notable for Galatasaray’s dominance and their strong attacking duo.
