Season Recap
Fenerbahçe won the title, their 14th league championship, under coach Mustafa Denizli. Galatasaray finished second, and Gaziantepspor came in third.
The top scorer was Okan Yılmaz (Bursaspor) with 23 goals.
Newly promoted teams Çaykur Rizespor, Yimpaş Yozgatspor and Siirt Jet-PA Spor replaced Altay, Göztepe and Vanspor, who were relegated.
This season was notable for Fenerbahçe’s strong performance, as they edged out Galatasaray in a tight title race.
