PSV won their 25th title, with Peter Bosz as coach. Feyenoord finished second, and FC Twente came in third.
The top scorers were Vangelis Pavlidis (AZ) and Luuk de Jong (PSV) with 29 goals.
Promoted teams PEC Zwolle, Almere City FC and Heracles Almelo replaced FC Emmen, Groningen and SC Cambuur, who were relegated.
