Feyenoord won their 16th title, with Arne Slot as coach. PSV Eindhoven finished second, and Ajax came in third.
The top scorers were Anastasios Douvikas (FC Utrecht) and Xavi Simons (PSV) with 19 goals.
Promoted teams Emmen, FC Volendam and Excelsior replaced Heracles, Willem II and PEC Zwolle, who were relegated.
This season was notable for Feyenoord’s resurgence under Slot and their strong defensive record.
