Napoli secured the Serie A title in the 2022/2023 season, claiming their 3rd Italian top division championship under the management of Luciano Spalletti. Lazio finished as runners-up, while Internazionale secured third place.
The top scorer of the season was Victor Osimhen of Napoli, who scored 26 goals.
The newly promoted teams this season were Lecce, Monza, and Cremonese. Relegated from the previous season were Cagliari, Venezia, and Genoa, who did not participate in the 2022/2023 campaign.
