Inter Milan clinched the Serie A title in the 2009/2010 season, securing their 18th Italian top division championship under the management of José Mourinho. Roma finished second, while Milan secured third place.
The top scorer of the season was Antonio Di Natale of Udinese, who scored 29 goals.
The newly promoted teams this season were Bari, Parma, and Livorno. Relegated from the previous season were Lecce, Torino, and Reggina, who did not participate in the 2009/2010 campaign.
