Bayern Munich continued their dominance, winning their 33rd Bundesliga title in 2022/2023 under Julian Nagelsmann. Borussia Dortmund were again the runners-up, with RB Leipzig completing the top three.
The season’s top scorer was Niclas Füllkrug of Werder Bremen and Christopher Nkunku of RB Leipzig, who both scored 16 goals.
Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen made their return to the Bundesliga after promotion. Relegated teams included Arminia Bielefeld and Greuther Fürth.
