Bayern Munich were once again crowned champions in the 2018/2019 season, marking their 29th league title, under the guidance of Niko Kovač. Borussia Dortmund finished in second place, while RB Leipzig secured the third spot.
Robert Lewandowski continued his impressive form, finishing as the top scorer with 22 goals.
The promoted sides were Fortuna Düsseldorf and Nürnberg, making their return to the Bundesliga. Relegated from the league were 1. FC Köln and Hamburger SV.
