Season Recap
Bayern Munich secured the Bundesliga title in the 2015/2016 season, claiming their 26th German top division championship under the management of Pep Guardiola. Borussia Dortmund finished as runners-up, while Bayer Leverkusen secured third place.
The top scorer of the season was Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, who netted 30 goals.
The newly promoted teams this season were Darmstadt 98 and Ingolstadt. Relegated from the previous season were SC Freiburg and SC Paderborn, who did not participate in the 2015/2016 campaign.
