Paris Saint-Germain won their 9th Ligue 1 title under Thomas Tuchel, with Marseille finishing second and Rennes in third.
Wissam Ben Yedder of Monaco and Kylian Mbappé of Paris Saint-Germain shared the top scorer title with 18 goals each.
This season saw the arrival of three new teams: Metz and Brest, who earned promotion from Ligue 2. Meanwhile, Caen and Guingamp were relegated after struggling in the previous campaign.
PSG’s title win was part of a historic domestic quadruple, as they also won the Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue, and Trophée des Champions.
