Paris Saint-Germain won their 7th Ligue 1 title under manager Unai Emery, with Monaco finishing second and Lyon in third.
Edinson Cavani of Paris Saint-Germain was the top scorer with 28 goals.
This season welcomed three new teams: Strasbourg, Amiens, and Troyes, all promoted from Ligue 2. Meanwhile, Lorient, Nancy and Bastia were relegated after a tough campaign.
PSG’s title win was part of a domestic treble, as they also won the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue, showcasing their dominance under Emery.
