Monaco won their 8th Ligue 1 title under manager Leonardo Jardim, with Paris Saint-Germain finishing second and Nice in third.
Edinson Cavani of Paris Saint-Germain was the top scorer with 35 goals.
Three teams joined Ligue 1 this season: Nancy, Dijon, and Metz, all promoted from Ligue 2. On the other hand, Reims, GFC Ajaccio, and Troyes were relegated after failing to maintain their top-flight status.
Monaco’s title win was built on an explosive attack led by Kylian Mbappé, Radamel Falcao, and Bernardo Silva, as they scored over 100 goals in the league.
