Juventus clinched the Serie A title in the 2011/2012 season, securing their 28th Italian top division championship under the management of Antonio Conte. AC Milan finished second, while Udinese secured third place.
The top scorer of the season was Zlatan Ibrahimović of Milan, who scored 28 goals.
The newly promoted teams this season were Atalanta, Siena, and Novara. Relegated from the previous season were Sampdoria, Bari, and Brescia, who did not participate in the 2011/2012 campaign.
