Season Recap

Lyon secured their third consecutive Ligue 1 title in the 2003/2004 season under Paul Le Guen, further solidifying their position at the top of French football. Paris Saint-Germain finished second, while Monaco completed the top three.

The top scorer of the season was Djibril Cissé of Auxerre with 26 goals.

This season saw the promotion of Toulouse, Le Mans and Metz, while teams like Le Havre, Sedan and Troyes were relegated.

Lyon’s title win was part of a historic double, as they also won the Coupe de la Ligue, showcasing their dominance under Le Guen.
